Moo Koh Chumphon National Park is located in Moo 5, Hat Sai Ri Subdistrict, Mueang Chumphon District. The national park covers the central coastal area facing the Gulf of Thailand. In its area of 317 square kilometers, the national park includes mangrove forest, mountains, beaches, sea, and an archipelago. Therefore, there are many kinds of tourist attractions and activities to do. The office of the national park is located in the middle of mangrove forest. The long wooden bridge leads to the tourist service centre building. The beach of the park is over 100 kilometers long, equivalent to more than half of the total length of the coast in Chumphon. There are many beautiful beaches on the coastline. The sea area includes more than 40 islands. On some islands, there are snorkeling points. The beach is covered by powder sand and many round rocks. Therefore, tourists can study the conditions of the mangrove forest by either an over 1 kilometer walk on the bridge, a boat ride through the mangrove forest, kayak, scuba dive or simply relax on the beach.
